  • Do you have a heart for people? The Welcome Team’s goal is to make everyone who attends DEC feel like family.

    The Welcome Team love to make people at home and connected into the life of the church.

    Examples of Welcome Team roles: door greeters, meeting new people, guiding people to seats, letting parents know where children’s ministry is.

    You will be trained and there will always be a team around you to help you.

  • The Creative Team serve together to make the vision of DEC engaging, excellent and distraction free.

    The Creative Team oversee production for the in-person service, church online and our social media. If you have a heart for design, audio, IT, photography or videography then we would love to have you on team.

    You will be trained and there will always be a team around you to help you.

  • Do you have a passion for worship? Do you want to use your gifts to draw people closer to God? Joining the worship team may be the right fit for you.

    The worship team meet together on a Tuesday evening for practice and serve during our Sunday Service.

    Some musical ability is required, but you will be trained and there will always be a team around you to help you.

  • The Hospitality Team have a passion for creating a warm enviroment. On Sunday mornings and special events they look after the food and catering for our church community.

  • The Kids Team serve to give the children of DEC an exciting morning filled with a great, biblical message and fun games.

    We run children’s groups from aged 0 - 18.

    You will be trained and there will always be a team around you to help you.

  • Do you have a heart for prayer? The Prayer Team serve to pray for the people of DEC, wider community and the nations of the world.

    The Prayer Team serve on Sunday mornings and occasionally throughout the week praying for people with specific needs.

    They intercede on behalf of the church in prayer and oversee a text Prayer Chain throughout the week.

    You will be trained and there will always be a team around you to help you.

  • Life Groups are groups that meet throughout the week to connect with each other and develop deeper friendships. Whether it’s a book club or a Bible study, Life Group leaders help facilitate the group and make everyone feel welcome.

    You will be trained and there will always be a team around you to help you.

  • The Pastoral Team look after the wellbeing of our church community. They have a heart for making sure that everyone feels at home at DEC.
