DEC KIDS
We run groups throughout the week and during church from children aged 0-18. Church is for kids too!
Your kids matter to us as much as they matter to you.
Our volunteer teams will be waiting to encourage, entertain and engage them in learning all about the Bible.
If you have any questions or a child with additonal needs, please email our DEC Youth and Children’s Director at darren@dec.ie and let us know how we can serve you!
We run our kids ministry at our 11:45 service, so it would be best to arrive at 11:30 to register your children. Ask one of our welcome team and they’ll point you in the right direction!
Explorers
Explorers is for your pre-school kids who are ready to be without mum or dad, although, if they need you to stick around with them for a while that’s definitely ok too.
They will be looked after by our team until the main service finishes and they will be given a little snack to keep them going.
We’ll play fun age appropriate activities to introduce them to the building blocks of faith. Then you can pick them up when the service is finished.
Adventurers and Pioneers
Our Primary school classes are for our 1st through 6th classers. These two groups start all together for games in the sports hall (which is where you will drop them off for check-in). They then split up into two separate groups- Adventurers (Junior Infants-2nd) and Pioneers (3rd-6th) for their lesson.
They will learn the same material but at an age-appropriate level. The two groups then reunite in the back classroom for memory verses and/or worship, which is where you will collect them from after the service finishes!
