Our youth mission statement here at DEC can be summed up in six words- Desire God, Love Others, Celebrate Life. That’s it! Let me unpack that a little.

Desire God

We believe in a God who loves everybody deeply and who sent his Son to die in our place so we could be in a relationship with Him. God desires us to be in a relationship with Him so our hope is that our young people will grow up desiring that relationship with him

Love Others

When asked what was the most important thing Jesus answered that it was to love the Lord your God but also to love your neighbour as yourself.  This is why our hope is that the young people at DEC grow  to love others

Celebrate Life

Although it has its tough times, life is great and should be celebrated. In the book John Jesus tells us that he has come to give life and give it to the full. We hope that the young people at DEC life this life to the full!
