About Shira & Ari Sorko-Ram

Shira and Ari Sorko-Ram, both Israeli citizens, married in 1977 and have been ministering in Israel since then. As Messianic Jews, Ari and Shira direct Maoz Israel Ministries.

They have been pioneers of the Messianic Jewish movement in Israel, and currently lead a Messianic Jewish congregation in the Tel Aviv area. They have sponsored many national conferences for Israeli leaders and believers.

They also encourage and sponsor born-again Jews returning to the land of Israel. They help immigrants set up small businesses, help them with immigration, and have fought for the civil rights of Jewish believers in Yeshua (Jesus) in the land of Israel.

Each year the Young Women’s Christian Association of

Ireland Overseas Outreach offers part-funding for
short-term overseas missionary work.
Last year 11 applicants received funding and worked in Cuba, Guatemala, Haiti,
India, Malawi, Nepal, Uganda and South Africa. Attached are the reports of their experiences.
We hope they will encourage you to pray for these situations and perhaps you might consider a short term trip yourself – if you are we look forward to hearing from you.
